✨ Steam – For Classic Soup Dumplings
This is the traditional way to enjoy soup dumplings: soft, delicate wrappers filled with juicy, savory broth. Steaming is gentle and keeps all that umami sealed in.
🔪 What You’ll Need:
- A steamer basket with lid
- Parchment paper
- A pot with about ½ cup water
🍲 Let’s Get Cooking:
Step 1: Add Water
Pour ½ cup of water into your steaming pot and bring it to a boil.
Step 2: Line the Steamer
Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit your steamer basket.
Poke small holes throughout so the steam can circulate. Place it inside the basket.
Step 3: Place Dumplings
Arrange your frozen soup dumplings on top of the parchment, leaving a little space between each one.
Step 4: Steam
Cover and steam for 8–10 minutes, until the dumpling wrappers are translucent and slightly bouncy.
Step 5: Serve Carefully
Use a spoon or tongs to gently transfer them to a plate (they’re hot and delicate!).
